Roundtable invitation: Closing the Cyber Protection Gap for US SMEs
Audience
This event is open to US brokers.
Description
The Lloyd's Market Association (LMA) is pleased to invite you to a roundtable discussion taking place at RIMS' RISKWORLD, focused on the challenges of increasing adoption of and effectively marketing cyber insurance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the US.
Despite rising cyber threats, many SMEs remain underinsured. The LMA is working with the Lloyd's and London market to develop a dedicated model cyber insurance wording for US SMEs. The session is designed to ensure US brokers are informed of, and can contribute to, this development.
Key elements of coverage include:
- definition of minimum standard for crisis management and pre-incident support
- data and systems restoration and repair
- critical supplier and customer coverage
- data liability coverage and breach response
- modular coverage to allow flexibility
- parametric coverage for immediate business interruption
- standardisation and simplification of common terms.
The roundtable will be hosted by:
16.15: Roundtable discussion
17.00: Drinks reception
18.00: Close
Our presenters will provide insight into the LMA's project to develop the model product wording and the key elements of the coverage.
We do hope you can join us.
