Description

The LMA invites full member underwriter and market practitioners from cyber, liability, and errors and omissions classes of business, with an interest in artificial intelligence (AI) exposures to attend this virtual briefing, exploring why artificial intelligence matters to insurers.

The session will examine the evolving legal trends and theories of liability, and consider how key insurance policies may be triggered. Members will learn about some of the early AI loss scenarios, with reference to some emerging claims. It will also explore how insurers can navigate associated coverage challenges.

The briefing will conclude with a discussion on emerging AI-specific policy language, and how underwriters and claims managers can respond to these developments.
